Dear FriendWelcome to our March 2026 newsletter. Why AI in health settings is a danger to informed consent? The Control Group is an organisation grown from the truth/freedom movement. We are both technologically proficient, and deeply invested in the concept of medical transparency. We believe that being able to access truthful information about medicines, vaccines and the diseases and symptoms they cure or cause is essential in order for us to make informed decisions about whether to allow them into our bodies. As such, we have become extremely concerned about the impact of existing data used to train artificial intelligence-based health systems. Why? With major advances in generative, pre-trained intelligence and the accelerating use of AI by individuals, organisations and government systems to make decisions regarding our health, it is essential that its intelligence comes from truthful, unbiased data sources. Through the last six years, many of us have learned the extent of corruption in big pharma and how peer reviewed studies are frequently obfuscated and manipulated for financial gain – so how could we then trust any automated intelligence system trained on that data? Garbage in = garbage out. That is not fully informed consent. We have also seen ‘the science’ change when good people make enough noise and the truth comes out – just look at where we are with statins, thanks to people like Dr Aseem Malhotra and his retrospective study: https://x.com/ValerieAnne1970/status/1942823502064615667 – will this data be used to train AI systems, or will it be left out because it is outside of big pharma approval? And what about official observational and real-world studies, which gather longer-term data on drugs that have already been approved? A deep dive into both ChatGPT and Grok’s responses on long-term, observational studies of Covid vaccines show the jabs to be safe and effective and without long-term problems (disregarding those pesky and insignificant heart problems). This is not what so many of us are seeing with our own eyes and what the non-pharma-approved analyses and studies are showing. In other words, real-world, observed, unapproved, anecdotal data is not formally collected and therefore, either not included or disregarded and diminished in the training for AI systems. This will be a major obstacle to fully informed consent when AI becomes the primary tool our healthcare providers use. Not just for the Covid vaccine, but for every medication and vaccination we have. Garbage in = garbage out. Of course, the problem of untruthful data already exists, and has done for decades – but until recently, there were good doctors and health providers to provide a safe-guard for those who sought fully informed consent, but when your healthcare provider becomes an AI agent, or you rely on information from AI chatbots to advise you at home, how can you know if the information is true? Just do a deep-dive search on study outcomes for cancer in Covid vaccinated vs. fully unvaccinated and you will be told there is no correlation. The screenshot below is an example from ChatGPT:
And what about alternatives to pharmaceuticals, such as natural health supplements and unapproved off-label drug use, such as Ivermectin for Covid – peer-reviewed (pharma approved) information frequently tells us a different story to the one we are hearing in the natural health movements – for example, on Ivermectin (which, by the way, saved my husband!): ChatGPT Query: What is the evidence for efficacy of Ivermectin use in severe Covid infection cases?
And on vitamin C in cancer cases, initially asked: ‘How many peer-reviewed studies are there on the efficacy of vitamin C in cancer?’ the response was vague, so I further asked (see screenshot):
Interestingly, ChatGPT only responded with results of oral supplementation, although I had not specified this – and in retrospect, my query was too wide but, intravenous vitamin C appears to have been dismissed from the above results, because when I was more specific, this is what I got:
However, studies are lacking (I wonder why?) – and this is where real-world, observed, unapproved, anecdotal data has it’s gems – the sort of information you find on health websites, or is whispered between knowing friends, or the odd doctor who will tell you if he trusts you (because he doesn’t want to lose his job). The big problem is, do we trust the technically robust systems based on the data big pharma approves (profits from), or do we churn through piles of conflicting information and vague protocols to work it out ourselves? Or could there be a different approach? The Control Group have been collating health information for five years now, we have been through several evolutions of our technology, and there is so much more information that we could gather that would be useful, but because our mission (and the majority of our audience) was specific to questioning the Covid narrative, we have limited its extent to ensure that focus. Our health information is direct from your experiences, anecdotal but real and not necessarily matching what big pharma says. However, our cohort has been primarily limited to those who questioned the Covid narrative (by necessity). We believe that two of the most important questions we ask, are: what you believe made you sick, and what are you taking to make yourself better (along with tracking the status of your disease). What if we could expand this to a more general population, formally collating the real-world, lived experience of effectiveness, side-effects and usages of all pharmaceuticals, natural supplements, diets and alternative treatments – the stuff that big pharma don’t like to do? What if we could build an AI based on this information? Good stuff in = good stuff out. With new medications and trends in medicines such as GLP-1 jabs for weight-loss, and the medicalisation of the menopause and resultant, extensive use (in the UK at least) of HRT in women – can we trust that big pharma will truly present us with truthful data? And back to the point of all of this – INFORMED CONSENT, which can only be achieved through trustworthy independent data. We are thinking deeply on this issue and how to solve it. A Health Card is a great way to keep important medical information to hand. You can add your health conditions, medications, supplements etc. to the card’s QR page, which makes it really useful when visiting health and wellness practitioners outside the medical system.
