NEWSLETTER – AUGUST 2023

Most of Europe swelters in a heatwave, whilst UK residents contemplate switching the heating back on! It doesn’t seem to be the most settled of summers, but we do hope, wherever you are in the world, everyone is managing to enjoy some down-time.

There have been lots of changes this month at the Control Group! We are preparing to rollout version 2.0 of our data system – a slicker interface that will look snazzy, be easy to use, and enable you to make detailed entries with ease.

Our social media channels are being revamped too!

All our channels can be found on our Linktree. Remember to give us a follow and share us on your preferred social media channel! The more views and the more participants there are in the Control Group, the more help we will be able get to people

A SAD GOOD BYE TO RACHAEL

We could never have anticipated how big the Control Group would get in just two years – and as parents who home educate their children, it has been an enormous challenge to balance our many roles. This has been all the more so for our co-director Rachael, whose children are still quite young.

She doesn’t want to miss out on these formative years and so, it is with a heavy heart that she has taken the difficult decision to give up her important work at the Control Group to focus on home-educating her children.

We will all miss her bright and uplifting presence and the incredible speed with which she dealt with everything that was thrown her way. The whole Control Group team wish her and her family the very best. We know she’ll continue to be terrific in whatever she sets her mind to!

A HAPPY HELLO TO CHARLIE

As well as a sad goodbye, we have a happy hello to say to our new social media manager, Charlie. Charlie will be working with Tom on producing our new podcast that will launch this autumn where we will hear from the vaccine-injured, industry experts, and forward-thinkers in alternative health. You’ll also see a lot more from us on your social media feed – including snippets from our webinars, campaign drives, success stories, and pictures of us hard at work.

CONTROL GROUP 2.0

This month, existing participants will finally be upgraded to the 2.0 version of our data entry system. It looks COMPLETELY different, but is so much easier to use and allows you to be much more detailed with your entries. We have had great feedback from our testers and will continue to make improvements to it as more people feed back to us.

You will receive a notification when the transfer takes place, as it will happen in stages – so please do bear with us. In the meantime, the Support WIKI has lots of training guides for using the system and we will be creating some guide videos to help you.

Please note that your data will remain in the system and you will NOT have to re-enter it however, we may need a little help re-applying some of your original data so it is catalogued correctly for future reporting.

SOCIAL MEDIA CHANGES

The main change you will have seen in the last week is the look of our social media pages – stylish and uniform! They all have the same header image, the same signature ‘Control Group’ red button as the profile picture, and a same biography: YOUR HEALTH | YOUR DATA | YOUR CHOICE

Every social media account shares the same username: @ControlGroupHQ

You need only type @ControlGroupHQ into your search engine or your favorite social media channel and you will find us. If the username is not ‘@ControlGroupHQ’ it is not the real us!

On Facebook, we now have the ‘Control Group Community’ group, and an official Control Group page to keep you up to date. We’ve joined Locals, Brighteon, and the dreaded TikTok! You will be seeing more of us and your favourite speakers across all your social media platforms as we begin to share the best and most informative bits from our webinars with the wider world

(Clips will NOT show any participants and we will not share any content from our meditation sessions or our ‘Caring and Sharing’ Zoom – we respect that these are safe spaces and will make sure the thoughts and feelings people express in these spaces remain private)

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS NEEDED

The past three years have been an assault on the mental health of so many us, but in most countries, support is only available between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday – leaving large amounts of time where there is no one available, which can have a devastating effect on outcomes.

Healthy Self Wellness in Australia are working to fill this gap; enabling anyone from anywhere to access professional support, or to simply connect with a group – even in the middle of the night, by utilising health professionals in different time-zones to cover all 24 hours.

Stefanie Hilger’s INSPIRING MEDITATION sessions with the emphasis on building positivity into your day. Stefanie is a trained psychologist and she begins each session with an opportunity for participants to share their worries or struggles and gain practical advice on how to move forward.

Stefanie is German and based in Spain. Her sessions are in English.

Norman Cristina’s POWER OF INTENTION sessions are every two weeks and are focus on sending positive vibrations to fellow participants and to the world in general. Norman is creating a movement where groups gather and use their positive intentions to help heal. Of course, there are no guarantees, but we are all becoming aware of the power within us to effect change and Norman is helping us to channel and direct this.
